The green bin takes aerosols, foil, food tins, drink cans, paper, card, plastic bottles, pots, tubs, trays, and glass bottles and jars — but not food waste, which would contaminate the load. Food currently goes in the black bin, with a separate weekly food collection being introduced across Worcestershire. Waste is incinerated at the EnviRecover energy-from-waste facility. Garden waste is a paid subscription collected fortnightly. Worcestershire County Council handles disposal.
