Test Valley collects the black general-waste bin (240L) and the brown recycling bin (240L) on alternating fortnightly weeks, with a weekly food waste caddy introduced in October 2025. Note the colours: brown is the recycling bin here, taking paper, card, cans, tins, aerosols and plastic bottles. Garden waste is a separate paid subscription collected fortnightly. A wider range of recycling (including glass) is expected once a new Hampshire facility opens around 2028. Hampshire County Council handles disposal via Project Integra.
