Rochdale Borough Council collects the dark green bin (general waste) every three weeks, the light green bin with a blue lid (mixed recycling — cans, plastic bottles, pots, tubs, trays, aerosols, foil, glass bottles and jars) every three weeks, and the blue bin (clean, dry paper, card and cartons) every three weeks. The brown bin (food and garden waste) is collected weekly. Put bins out before 7am on collection day with the lid down.
