New Forest collects the black-lidded rubbish bin (180L) and the green-lidded recycling bin (240L) on alternating fortnightly weeks, with a weekly food waste caddy. The green bin takes paper, card, tins, cans and plastic bottles; glass goes in a separate black box collected every four weeks. Garden waste is a paid subscription (around £70 a year) collected fortnightly from a brown-lidded bin. Hampshire County Council handles disposal.
