Since November 2026 Mid Sussex collects food waste weekly (green food bin), mixed recycling fortnightly (blue-lidded bin) and general rubbish every three weeks (black-lidded bin). The blue bin takes paper, card, tins, plastics and glass. Garden waste is a paid subscription collected fortnightly from a separate green garden bin. West Sussex County Council handles disposal via the Ford MRF.
