Mid Devon collects general refuse every three weeks (grey wheeled bin or seagull sack), recycling fortnightly and food weekly. Recycling is kerbside-sorted: a black box for glass, paper, tins, cans and plastics, and a green box for cardboard and cartons. Food waste goes in a blue kerbside caddy weekly. Garden waste is a paid subscription (brown bin or pay-as-you-go sacks) collected fortnightly. Devon County Council handles disposal.
