High Peak collects the black general-waste bin and the blue recycling bin on alternating fortnightly weeks. The blue bin takes paper, card, tins and plastics (no glass — glass goes to bring banks). From 14 September 2026 a new weekly food caddy was introduced and the green-lidded bin became garden waste only, needing a paid subscription (around £46 a year, fortnightly). Derbyshire County Council handles disposal.
