The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (with contractor Veolia) is replacing single-use sacks with wheeled bins across the borough, alongside a new weekly food waste service. Where the new bins are in place, you have a bin for general rubbish and a bin for mixed dry recycling (paper, card, glass, cans and plastics, loose). Properties unsuitable for wheelie bins continue with sacks or a 90-litre dustbin, plus the new food caddy. Food waste is collected weekly. Garden waste is a paid subscription. Because the rollout is happening in phases, collection arrangements and frequencies vary by area. This information was correct at the time of writing; the council has proposals to change its collection schedule currently under review, so your service may be updated in future. Put waste out before 6am, or after 9pm the night before.
