Bromsgrove follows the standard Worcestershire pattern: a grey bin for rubbish and a green bin for all your mixed recycling, alternating week about, with a paid brown bin for garden waste.
Bromsgrove District Council collects the grey bin (general non-recyclable waste) and the green bin (mixed dry recycling — paper, card, plastics, cans, glass and cartons, all together and loose, sorted at the Envirosort plant) on alternating fortnightly weeks. Garden waste goes in a brown bin on a paid subscription, collected fortnightly. All six Worcestershire districts use this same black/grey-and-green alternating scheme. A separate weekly food waste collection is being introduced under national Simpler Recycling rules. This information was correct at the time of writing; the council has proposals to change its collection schedule currently under review, so your service may be updated in future. Present bins by 7am on collection day with the lid closed.
