Food waste is collected weekly using a brown food box and kitchen caddy. Garden waste goes in a brown bin on a paid subscription, collected fortnightly. Note the local quirks: green is your general rubbish here, and recycling is split between the blue-lid (paper/card) and white-lid (containers and glass) bins. Present containers by 6am on collection day.
